Teresa Caro

Teresa Caro is Director Strategy for Razorfish, providing expertise on digital marketing strategy, email marketing, search marketing, affiliate marketing, Web analytics, branding, and product positioning.

Before her return to the corporate world and after 10 years as a successful strategic marketer for several corporations, Teresa launched Caro Consulting. Her intensive experience as a hands-on manager of marketing initiatives across multiple industries and business channels, afforded Caro Consulting, its consultants, and clients, unique experience that blends traditional sales and marketing techniques with today's technologies.

While director of Marketing for KnowledgeStorm, Caro's experience and award-winning technology marketing initiatives propelled the company from startup into a multi-million-dollar enterprise. As marketing manager at ANTEC Network Technologies (now a division of Scientific Atlanta), Caro's development strategy introduced and successfully positioned four new product lines. Caro has also developed marketing strategies and campaigns tasked to improve service and customer loyalty for nine dealerships within Ford Motor Company's Lincoln-Mercury Division in Orlando. As director of Product Marketing for RealEstate.com, Caro created a highly successful integrated marketing plan for the company's Web site product, and built a marketing strategy that effectively positioned six RealEstate.com product lines. Caro provided significant input to business intelligence expert and author Guy R. Powell, to finalize his book, Return on Marketing Investment.

In 2003-2005, Caro was president of the Atlanta Interactive Marketing Association (AiMA), a dedicated group of new media and interactive marketing professionals focused on providing the Atlanta Interactive Marketing Community a place to network, share, and learn about proven leading-edge interactive strategies and tactics.

Caro has been the recipient of the Atlanta Business Chronicle's Marketing Award for Excellence for best new product introduction. Caro also created the award-winning strategic marketing e-zine, The Upshot, KnowledgeStorm's user newsletter. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Villanova University and an MBA from Georgia State University.
